Mountain Air tours are pre-defined flights and flight sequences that
must be completed and verified in order. Certain rules will generally apply to each tour, and those rules
will be specified on the tour pages. When completed, bonus points and awards
are generally given. These tours help pilots discover the world of Mountain Air and
provide some structured flying. New tours will be added periodically and will be announced in the forums.
NOTE: State Capitol tour rules have been amended. See the detail page or the forum post

The state capital tour is an open-ended and perpetual (will not expire) group of flights where you will land in and then depart from each of the 48 state capitals in the continental United States. Legs are routed through our focus cities whenever possible. Legs are pre-defined and you must do each leg in order. Your next leg will be listed for you on the tour page. After finishing your leg, you must submit a PIREP and request the flight be approved toward the tour. That will then authorize your next leg to be flown.
The Canadian capitals tour is an open-ended and perpetual group of flights where you will land in and then depart from each of the Provincial capitals in Canada.
The National Parks tour is an open-ended and perpetual group of flights where you will land in and then depart from designated airports that correspond with most American or Canadian National Parks. Not all parks will be represented, because some are in locations too remote for airline operations. Legs are routed through our focus cities whenever possible. Legs are pre-defined and you must do each leg in order. Your next leg will be listed for you on the tour page. After finishing your leg, you must submit a PIREP and request the flight be approved toward the tour. PLEASE READ the rules for the tour and note that there are some new rules for this tour, including required FSACARS use and maximum allowable landing rates.
